Description

My panorama image for the Milky way in one of the most famous UNISCO World Heritage in EGYPT, Wadi El - Hitan.Whale Valley or Wadi El- Hitan , in the Western Desert of Egypt, contains invaluable fossil remains of the earliest, and now extinct, suborder of whales. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in July 2005 for its hundreds of fossils of some of the earliest forms of whale, the "archaeoceti"I stopped at the entrance gate of this protected area and start my imaging session to take a very rare image for the entrance with the winter Milky way arc in the sky. So, in the ground of this image there are the fossils of whales which stayed there for millions of years and in the sky, there are the stars that are way from us by millions of light years. There is also this unfamiliar air glow under the Milky way arc , I really don't know what cause this air glow in the sky especially in this dark sky location. As this area has no artificial light and away from city by 200 km so it’s completely dark , that's why I used my small torch to make light painting for the ground , This was really pain ,exhausting and risky so I put the warning triangle away from my location by 500 meters with flashing beacon to alert any vehicle on the road ( But Fortunately there were no vehicles at all as it’s a very remote place but I put my precautions to save myself from any vehicle approaching my location) .I run all over the place to make the light painting quickly to avoid blocking the road with my vehicle then I started to put my tracker off the road and started taking the sky images.
